across the country. Because of the interest generated by our members and directors at the
Third Annual Minnesota Lawful Gambling Convention & Expo ACM has worked for five
years with the Minnesota Council on Compulsive Gambling to raise funds for their
their youth.
The Adolescent Compulsive Gambling Prevention and Education Program is aimed at
adolescents, parents, educators, and community leaders. The overall goal of the program
is to increase awareness of the problems associated with underage gambling.
The program has developed materials such as brochures, a video called "Andy's Story"
and a book entitled "Wanna Bet? Everything you ever wanted to know about Teen
Gambling but never thought to ask". The materials are utilized by community groups,
schools, and others across the State of Minnesota.
The mission of the Minnesota Council on Compulsive Gambling is
to:
gambling activities also hold choices and consequences.
