Golf Tourney & Dinner Banquet

Raises $10,000

On Thursday, September 28, 2000 144 golfers joined us for the 7th
Annual ACM/MCCG Golf Tourney held at Pheasant Acres Golf Club in Rogers,
MN. The event brought together representatives from virtually all fields
associated with lawful gambling to raise money for the Minnesota Council
On Compulsive Gambling. This special event turned out to be very
successful as $10,000 was raised for the Council's Adolescent Compulsive
Gambling Prevention Program. This brings our 5-year total to $44,500.

Taking first place in this fun-filled event was the team of Bernie
Biebighauser, John Cox, Paul Gabriel, & Paul Mample of the Kramer-Berg
American Legion Post 504. They are to be congratulated for a great round
of golf.

Winners of the Golf Special Events were: Todd Deaton for Mens Closest
To The Pin;  Todd Pederson for Mens Longest Drive; Karen Frerichs for
Womens Longest Drive; & Pat Nugent for Mens Longest Putt.
