ACM Keeping Charity In Minnesota Gambling

Working Together For Minnesota Charities

ACM ensures that charitable gambling groups are heard with a strong and unified voice at the state and national capitols, and before the Gambling Control Board.

We actively work with Minnesota and Federal lawmakers, as well as the Gambling Control Board, on lawful gambling issues.

ACM works for the best interest of our industry on a daily basis and keeps members informed on the latest government actions.

As a unified group we are able to better affect rules and statutes governing our industry and curtail unfair, bureaucratic and burdensome mandates and taxes.

Legislative updates, Fall regional meetings and the ACM Newsletter all help to keep our members up-to-date on statute and rule changes, meeting notices, organizational changes and other important information.

Providing Information,
Education And Training

A better educated and trained membership will promote a smoother functioning organization and make it easier to raise funds through lawful gambling.

The annual ACM Convention & Expo provides education and training seminars and disseminates the latest information from charitable gaming experts. ACM delegates see the latest in games and services available to their organizations.

Allied Charities of Minnesota also has initiated a Legislative Update, a special  mailing during the legislative session for members only. This mailing informs the hundreds of ACM member organizations of legislative issues that could endanger the health and viability of our industry. In addition, ACM provides member organizations with the latest in rules updates and special notices on issues of broad industry interest.

ACM also provides up-to-date information on lawful gambling through the ACM telephone hotline (651) 255-6702.
