The Internal Revenue Service will be offering free workshops on October
11, 2000 in Fargo ND and October 24, 2000 in Sioux Falls, SD from 8:00
am to 4:30 pm. The workshops are intended to provide small to medium
size tax-exempt organizations with the ABC's of complying with their
various exemption and tax law requirements. Some of the topics to be
covered include exemption and filing requirements, recordkeeping,
unrelated business income, disclosure, and employment tax. This workshop
does not cover how to apply for tax-exempt status.
