F.Y.I. - On Friday, March 6, 1998 Representatives Alice Johnson, Bob Milbert, & Roxann

Daggett offered an amendment to the Omnibus Tax Bill in the House Taxes Committee to

reduce lawful gambling taxes by an additional 5% effective as of July 1, 1999 (this would

have meant a 10% reduction from 7/1/99 on). The amendment was defeated on a 12-12 tie

vote. The Chair who was opposed to the amendment asked for a roll call vote. The results
